Duration: ~10–15 minutes
Begin
Find a comfortable position.
You can sit, lie down, or even stand—whatever allows your body to feel supported without effort.
Gently close your eyes…
or soften your gaze.
Take a slow breath in through your nose…
and exhale through your mouth.
Again… inhale…
and exhale, letting your shoulders drop.
No need to control anything.
Just begin by noticing… that you’re here.
Coming Back to the Body
Bring your awareness into your body.
Feel the weight of yourself—where you make contact with the ground, the chair, the floor.
Notice your breath, just as it is.
Not deeper. Not slower.
Just natural.
Your body already knows how to breathe…
just like nature knows how to grow.
There is nothing you need to fix in this moment.
Noticing the Inner Weather
Now begin to notice what’s present inside you.
Thoughts… sensations… emotions…
Without labeling them as good or bad.
Just like watching weather pass through the sky.
Some days are clear.
Some days are stormy.
But the sky itself… is never in danger.
Let yourself observe… without needing to change anything.
Releasing Force
Now gently bring awareness to anywhere you might be holding tension.
Your jaw…
your shoulders…
your chest…
your stomach…
Ask yourself, quietly:
“Where am I forcing right now?”
Not just in your body…
but in your life.
Trying to control…
trying to rush…
trying to figure everything out…
You don’t need an answer.
Just notice what arises.
And with your next exhale…
imagine softening that effort… just a little.
No need to drop it completely.
Just loosen your grip.
Returning to Natural Rhythm
Now bring your awareness back to your breath.
Notice the rhythm:
Inhale…
pause…
exhale…
pause…
This is a cycle.
Just like day and night.
Just like the seasons.
Your body is already living in rhythm…
even when your mind is not.
Let yourself follow this natural cycle for a few breaths.
No pushing.
No pulling.
Just allowing.
Becoming Like Nature

Now imagine yourself as part of nature—not separate from it.
You might picture yourself as:
- a tree, rooted and steady
- an ocean, moving in waves
- a river, flowing around obstacles
- or simply standing in an open landscape
There is no right image. Let it come naturally.
And as you sit in that image, reflect gently:
Nature does not rush.
Nature does not force.
Nature adapts… and continues.
Let that feeling settle into your body.
Trusting the Process
Bring one area of your life into awareness—something that feels uncertain, pressured, or unresolved.
Instead of trying to solve it…
Ask yourself:
“What would it look like to approach this like nature?”
Maybe:
- with patience
- with adaptability
- with trust in timing
- with steady, aligned action
You don’t need the full plan.
Just the next natural step.
Let that be enough.
Integration
Take a deeper breath in…
and a slow breath out.
Notice your body again.
Notice the space around you.
Nothing outside has changed…
but something within you may have softened.
This is always available to you.
Not something you have to earn—
but something you can return to.
Mindfulness Closing
When you’re ready…
Gently wiggle your fingers…
your toes…
And slowly open your eyes.
Carry this with you:
You don’t have to force your life forward.
You can move…
like nature does.
Optional Reflection (After the Practice)
If you want to deepen this, take a moment to journal:
- Where am I currently forcing things in my life?
- What would “flow” look like instead?
- What is one small way I can align with my natural rhythm today?
Tip for Use
This practice becomes more powerful when repeated.
Try it:
- in the morning to set your rhythm
- or at night to release the day
Even a few minutes can help you reset back into alignment.
